Never use detergents as they will cloud the sealer.

Depending on the traffic and use you should periodically wax your floor:

Before applying wax, we suggest cleaning your floor with Zep Neutral Floor Cleaner.

Once clean, apply Zep High Traffic Floor Finish using the directions on the container.

Try a rayon mop (blue & white)-we think you will like the results.

All of these products can be purchased at The Home Depot.

What not to do: Rubber underlayment stuck to floor

Do not lay rubber backed mats on a sealed concrete floor. Doing so could result in permanent discoloration due to trapped moisture and the rubber will stick to the sealer. You can place a thin cotton or linen cloth directly on the floor and then lay the rubber backed mat over it to protect the floor. When using carpet pads under area rugs, be sure to use a high quality pad. The inexpensive pads have a high amount of rubber in them and will also stick to your floor.

Do not lay thin plastic sheeting on your floor. Over time, this will also bond to your sealer. Plastic furniture foot protectors are fine to use and should not stick to the floor.

If you have an area in your home where a rolling chair will be used, such as an office, you will need additional protection on your floor. Use either a non-rubber backed carpet or a thick plastic floor protector without the carpet nubs. The thicker plastic will not damage the sealer.

If you follow these suggestions your floor will be beautiful for many years.

After you have removed smaller objects (like furniture or planters) we use masking film to protect walls, landscaping, and other immovable items. As the project progresses, masking film is replaced as needed to ensure that it continues to do its job. When the project is complete, all film and tape is removed and disposed of and a complete sweep of the area is performed to be sure we are not leaving debris behind.

First we tore out a small existing patio and poured a new 660 square foot pad using natural light gray concrete. Prior to curing, the concrete was stamped using an Ashlar Cut Slate stamp for the main patio and Roman Slate skins for the border with a Medium Gray release. Although the result was already beautiful, the homeowner wanted something truly one of kind so each stone was individually stained using a varied pattern of Smokey Blue, Cappuccino, and Buff Tan releases. The homeowner’s excellent eye for color and the attention to detail by our crew gave this amazing result!
The building had previously served in several commercial ventures and areas viagra the warehouse floor were in very poor condition. As a result, before applying the decorative finish, we needed to pour new concrete in some areas and install an overlay over the extensive repair work to provide a surface that would accept the stain uniformly.

TMCC ground the concrete down to the aggregate, we repaired the cracks and spalling, then we stained the entire floor with an acid stain using Brickform Coffee and Brickform Amber stains. We applied a clear sealer by H & C, and then we waxed the floor with Day Star wax to give the floor a nice, glossy, polished finish. The final product is a contempory look while maintaining the warehouse character of this new grocery store.

Visit Dean’s Urban Market grocery store at 1415 Park Avenue West in Denver to buy your next bag of groceries and get a first hand look at this beautiful acid stained concrete floor.

We had a wonderful time working with the customers on the design of this double-basin, black and white concrete countertop. An on-site template was made to ensure that the countertop fit nicely into the designated spot–and this one fit perfectly when finished! The template was brought back to the shop and a form was built, making sure that the sinks and holes for the faucets were located accurately. The first step was to ‘pack’ the black concrete into the form. Once it had set up, white polymer modified concrete was troweled to fill in all the voids left from packing. Once filled and cured, we ground and sanded the countertop to give it a clean surface. Polyaspartic was applied to seal the project. Krystal and Craig are very happy with the addition to their remodeled bathroom.
