We had the pleasure of working with Brian and Louanna on the remodeling of their basement into an amazing new living and entertaining space. The bar and countertop was poured in place, the floor acid stained and sealed to compliment the countertop.
Once prepped and a few repairs made, a heavy troweled overlay using Miracote MPC was applied to the lunchroom at the Owens Corning facility in Denver. Brickform Walnut Acid Stain was used for the color and the Owens Corning logo was achieved with a template and concrete dye. A durable epoxy and urethane finish completed the project.
This walkout basement was the perfect area to apply an acid stain. However, after the carpet and tile were pulled up, we found cracks, paint, plaster, and tack holes. This needed to be fixed prior to staining. We ground the floor, pulled a skim coat of white polymer modified cement and then stained the floor and border. The circular brick and star were cut in front of the fireplace, a saw cut was made at the border and then two coats of concrete sealer were applied.
Kemiko's Lawn Green and Vintage Umber were used to achieve this beautiful floor. The customers called the final result "Floor Art."
The Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Frederick is a magnificent facility. We were very pleased to be asked to complete the concrete staining and dye work in the coffee shop and around the perimeter of the ground floor. Material used: Brickform Coffee and Amber; Dye & Seal Burnt Sienna and Walnut; Key Resin Urethane Top Coat; Pioneer Day Star Wax.

This beautiful back yard patio was first acid stained. Then, using different sized and shaped templates, we randomly placed the templates on the patio and engraved around them. This cut away the color and provided concrete grout lines around the ‘stones.’ Two coats of clear concrete sealer were applied to give brilliance and protection to the project.
The first coat of the front and back patio of this beautiful home in Broomfield was a troweled dark gray color—this is the grout line color. The second coat was a slop trowel of the light gray and then we custom stained each of the individual tiles to give them this multi-colored tile floor.
At the center of the courtyard is this beautiful compass rose. Stained to complement the colors of the surrounding stamp and the gray house with blue trim.
Jerry and Janet's beautiful home, with an amazing view of the mountains, needed a bit of color on the back patio. Brickform Coffee was the color of choice, sealed with two coats of solvent-based sealer and slip resistance additive.
We used two colors to mottle this patio in Lakewood. The tile and circular brick were cut with a concrete saw and then using a template and concrete engraver, the sunburst was engraved and colored.

Concrete counter tops are becoming a popular alternative to stone and tile. Black epoxy with a copper dispersant makes this beautiful counter top perfect for the bathroom, bar or any area in need of a sleek contemporary look.
A concrete countertop was the option of choice to extend an existing kitchen island and make a durable, one-of-a-kind family eating area.
The countertop was poured with the material integrally colored the salmon color. The green stain was added and the counter was sealed with polyaspartic. The basin was poured integrally colored green and sealed.
Countertops are just one of the many pieces that can be made with concrete. Coffee tables, end tables, sofa tables, bowls, basins, and on and on and on. This concrete sofa table was poured using countertop mix and then stained and sealed. The custom top and frame make this a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture.

The floor was first acid stained. Then, using a concrete saw, we cut the 1/8” inch deep circular brick into the concrete—cutting away the color and giving a grout lines. Using a template, engraving the pattern, and filling the areas with red and green self-leveling epoxy made the grapes in the center of the circular brick.
This 60 year-old garage in Washington Park was used for much more than just parking cars, so the homeowners wanted to clean up the floor. Concrete stains and dyes, along with sweeping ribbons of color were used to mask years of dirt and oil stains. The walls have been dry-walled and painted and the new party room is open!
Garages are used for cars. They are also often where you will find the workshop. This workshop has a floor that is durable, easy to keep clean and attractive. The saw cuts are filled with black grout to give the floor a flat surface.
Jay's garage and storage area are now functional and beautiful. Once ground, the concrete was primed, a Spanish Tile colored, epoxy bond coat was rolled and black and white vinyl chips broadcast into material. Once cured and excess ships picked up, a clear top coat was applied.
The floor and step walls were ground, acidized and cleaned. Once completely dry the floor was primed and the binder coat was applied. The Provincial Tan pigmented epoxy body coat was put down and the brown, light brown and white chips were lightly broadcast into material. A beautiful looking floor in a beautiful garage/work area.
Entryways and Walkwayssee more photos of concrete entryways and walkways
The views, the wildlife, what a magnificent setting. Our job was to repair and stamp an entryway that complement the surroundings. The border and steps were stamped with Mirastamp and then the new stamped work, plus the existing stamped areas, were colored with Smith's Color Floor Desert Sand.
This walkway connects the decorated driveway in front and the patio in back. The steps were stained and saw cut to complement the colors and patterns of the driveway and patio. Note the staining of the concrete window-well.
Nestled in the beautiful woods of Evergreen, the stained concrete path gives you a walking path that blends nicely with its surroundings--so much nicer than gray concrete.
Pool Deckssee more photos of concrete pool decks
Provincial Tan was the color of choice for this beautiful setting. The second coat of the pool deck Miracote MPC coating was trowelled to give the desired texture.
Rather than using a template, the flagstone pattern was taped to give the pool deck a more natural appearance. Miracote MPC, slop trowel and the color Grizzly were used on this project.
Miracote products were used to stamp and overlay the pool deck at this beautiful setting. First the pool coping and the outer edge of the deck were stamped and custom colored. An existing overlay was lightly ground, ML Primer applied to ensure adhesion, and then MPC, colored with Copper Kettle LIP was troweled to achieve the texture.
The magnificent travertine tile used for this indoor pool needed an artistic and one-of-a-kind coping. Repair mortar and Mirastamp were used to fill and shape the area. Troweled MPC achieved the texture and custom staining completed the decorative work.
The Trails Recreation Center is a beautiful facility in Arapahoe County, with magnificent swimming pools. Following the application of ML Primer, two coats of MPC, colored with Copper Kettle, and black and white highlights, were applied. Two coats of Mirapoxy provide the final sealer.

This high-rise balcony was stamped with Mirastamp and topically stained with alcohol and pigment. The protection and sheen is a result of the Miracote HD II sealer.
The lower patio is a concrete slab with a taped ashlar pattern overlay. The upper deck is a MiraflexII decking system over plywood, with the same overlay. Check out our Blog for more information on this project.
3,000 SF of decking was completed with the Miraflex II decking system. Upper level living spaces were enhanced with the benefit of waterproofing lower levels and beauty of a textured modified concrete floor. The projects were conducted in early Spring so they needed to be tented to keep rain and snow off the surface and existing outdoor kitchens and fireplaces dictated specific color schemes.
We had the pleasure of working with the Vail Racquet Club to apply the Miraflex II decking system to an upper deck. Metal lathe, repair mortar, membrane A, MPC and sealer were all used to make this waterproofed, durable and attractive finish.
This 13th floor penthouse balcony turned out beautiful with a stamped overlay finish.
