We can pour new concrete patios or install decorative finishes on existing patios. There are many options for colors, textures and patterns for concrete patios. Stamped concrete overlays for patios are a popular way to create texture with concrete. Color can be achieved through acid stains, pigmented sealers or integrally-colored concrete overlays. Concrete patios can be engraved into patterns like tiles, flagstone, ashlar, slate and brick.
Concrete patios that are cracked or chipping can be repaired by cleaning, grinding, stitching, patching and/or filling the cracks prior to applying a concrete overlay. The new overlay will provide a strong, beautiful surface that can be decorated to create a one-of-a-kind concrete patio.

For the patio and steps, we used a cementious overlay—highlighted sandpiper beige for the tile, with a white grout line. We then applied stamp material to a 5 foot in diameter circle. Once the stamp material set up, we stamped it with the Compass Rose stamp and stained it with water-based stain.

Stained Concrete Patio
This beautiful back yard patio was first acid stained. Then, using different sized and shaped templates, we randomly placed the templates on the patio and engraved around them. This cut away the color and provided concrete grout lines around the ‘stones.’ Two coats of clear concrete sealer were applied to give brilliance and protection to the project. [pinit]

Carol and Dan had their 450 rectangular-shaped deck taken out and replaced it with a 575 square foot, beautifully shaped, scalloped patio. The colors and design were selected to complement the shape of the patio and the colors of the brick on the house.

Tony used Miracote Mirastamp with Provencial Tan LIP to achieve the base color and stamped for texture with an Old Granite skin. He then marked and saw-cut the Ashlar pattern and sprayed and sponged on Fired Brick and Bronco Brown LIP to achieve the highlights. It was a fun project!

From the muffins and coffee during our early morning bid to the margaritas and chips on the finished patio a week later, Liz and Linda were great to work with. The almond colored first coat became the grout lines and the sandpiper beige with black, white and brown highlights became the tile. A beautiful complement to the green and white house.

The first coat of the front and back patio of this beautiful home in Broomfield was a troweled dark gray color—this is the grout line color. The second coat was a slop trowel of the light gray and then we custom stained each of the individual tiles to give them this multi-colored tile floor.

The homeowners wanted to resurface the eating area on the upper level of this beautiful home in Centennial. A stamped border was put around the outside of the deck and then the first coat of modified cement was troweled, the second coat sprayed and knocked down to give the beautiful texture. The ashlar pattern was saw cut and the project was sealed with concrete sealer and slip resistance material.

After the repair work was completed, the goal was to pull the colors from the rock wall into the slop trowel overlay. The stippled border adds an attractive accent to the patio.

The Universal Template was applied between the pillars to provide a unique look to the patio of this beautiful home in Littleton. The center areas are sprayed and highlighted to complement the texture and color of the house.

A beautiful stamped patio. The Miracote Mirastamp overlay material was colored with Provincial Tan and then stamped. Once cured, Donie and Chuy topically applied Bronco Brown and Charcoal colors in Mirastain, to provide the custom highlights. When the color was just right and Jana and John were happy with the look, two coats of solvent-based sealer and slip resistant additive were applied.
