Concrete Floor & Countertop
We had the pleasure of working with Brian and Louanna on the remodeling of their basement into an amazing new living and entertaining space. The bar and countertop was poured in place, the floor acid stained and sealed to complement the countertop.

The floor of this coffee shop was stained with Brickform reactive stains–Amber, mottled with Coffee. The red diamonds were colored with Dye-n-Seal, Burnt Sienna color.

Stained Concrete Floors
This walkout basement was the perfect area to apply an acid stain. However, after the carpet and tile were pulled up, we found cracks, paint, plaster, and tack holes. This needed to be fixed prior to staining. We ground the floor, pulled a skim coat of white polymer modified cement and then stained the floor and border. The circular brick and star were cut in front of the fireplace, a saw cut was made at the border and then two coats of concrete sealer were applied.

Commercial Concrete Floor
When they moved into their new office space, Connect Colorado owners wanted a colorful, unique floor. The concrete had several floor patches and numerous holes from metal room dividers and walls that had been removed. So, before we could acid stain, we needed to trowel a coat of modified concrete to serve as the new base. Once that was done, we stained with browns and rusts, accenting with greens to give a patina effect. The company logo was placed at the front door.

Smith’s Color Floor is a water-based stain developed as an alternative to solvent and acid-based stains. It can be applied to previously sealed surfaces, which is what we did at the Castle Rock Town Hall. The floor was stripped, sanded and cleaned. Then we sprayed the three colors of stain to achieve the mottled look. Once stained, the surface was sealed and waxed, giving this beautiful public building in downtown Castle Rock a durable and attractive floor.

The SkyView Academy took great pride in the design and functionality of its new facility.
