Stamped Concrete Patios

Posted By kristing on April 6, 2009

Well, even though it seems like Winter is still (or finally?) here, it’s April! Time to start thinking about Spring landscaping. Stamped concrete is a great solution for outdoor hardscaping like patios, walkways, pool decks, courtyards, driveways and walls. With a stamped concrete overlay, we can work with your existing concrete, eliminating the need to remove it. Here is an example of a stamped concrete overlay project we did. For the patio we used a cementious overlay—highlighted sandpiper beige for the tile, with a white grout line. We then applied stamp material to a 5 foot in diameter circle. Once the stamp material set up, we stamped it with the Compass Rose stamp and stained it with water-based stain.

    You folks do excellent work.

Few companies I’ve run across could do the kind of overlay work you have shown here.

Stamped concrete is so versatile that it will eventually replace all other types of hardscape.

No wonder it’s use is growing like wildfire, people realize that it’s beauty will last longer than the life of the home or commercial structure and it is much less expensive than other materials.

    Thanks for a great article.
