The first coat of the overlay material (Miracote MPC, colored gray) was troweled on the patio of this beautiful home in Castle Rock. Once cured, the flagstone pattern was taped and the second coat of Provincial Tan colored MPC was applied with a textured trowel technique. The border was also troweled and the color is Copper Kettle. A matte finish sealer and slip resistance material was applied as the top coat.

Well, even though it seems like Winter is still (or finally?) here, it’s April! Time to start thinking about Spring landscaping. Stamped concrete is a great solution for outdoor hardscaping like patios, walkways, pool decks, courtyards, driveways and walls. With a stamped concrete overlay, we can work with your existing concrete, eliminating the need to remove it. Here is an example of a stamped concrete overlay project we did. For the patio we used a cementious overlay—highlighted sandpiper beige for the tile, with a white grout line. We then applied stamp material to a 5 foot in diameter circle. Once the stamp material set up, we stamped it with the Compass Rose stamp and stained it with water-based stain.
